Ms Shiparski has significant experience in the advancement of electronic health records and evidenced based practice. She has been very successful assisting groups at all levels in developing effective partnerships and engaging in shared decision making. Ms. Shiparskis’ strengths include; facilitating engagement and group processes, and assisting with conflict resolution. She focuses on helping others utilize their strengths to move into their preferred futures. She has helped many executives with executing large scale change to improve clinical and financial outcomes.
Ms. Shiparski is an author and national speaker. She is the author of numerous articles and 5 books. She is also a contributor to the Sigma Theta Thau books; 101 Global Leadership Lessons for Nurses: Legacies from leaders and their Mentors, and Mastering Precepting: A Nurse’s Handbook for Success
Ms. Shiparski holds an Associate’s degree in Nursing from Purdue University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Michigan and a Master of Science degree with a focus on Nursing Administration from Andrews University. She is certified in the Four Gateways Coaching Process, Polarity Management, and dialogue facilitation. She is an active member of AONE and Sigma Theta Thau the International Nursing Society. Ms. Shiparski resides in Grand Rapids, MI.
