Timothy M. Breen VP of Healthcare Information Systems

Mr. Breen has more than 18 years of IT experience with 13 years specifically focused on the healthcare sector. He has an extensive background in software development and systems engineering. His experience includes processing of hospital and clinical data sets, patient satisfaction survey data collection, and patient record dictation processing within the physician office. He obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from the University of California at Davis.Mr. Breen has completed numerous training courses and earned several certifications, including HL7 V3 RIM R1 Specialist.

Mr. Breen has been with Verras since 1996, starting as a software engineer, and progressing to his current position as head of Information Technology. As a software engineer, he helped develop the current back-end data processing components. Taking on an expanded role, he successfully brought the Sherlock 3 decision-support application through the final beta testing and release efforts. Mr. Breen’s responsibilities include maintenance of existing information system infrastructure, integration of new technology to upgrade existing product lines, and support of new development.
