Executive Coaching

The focus of Executive Coaching is to align individual and organizational goals and successfully execute strategies to enhance leadership effectiveness and improve outcomes for the organization.

Many of our Innovative Leadership products incorporate Coaching within their content.  Executive Coaching can also be contracted and deal with on a specific and individual bases.  Coachinig can be contracted on a per diem bases or with a defined context in mind.

The Engagement Process

  • Assessment of organization and individual leaders to develop scope of the engagement
  • Creating and implementing a developmental strategy for organization and each leader
  • Matching coach with client for 1:1 leadership coaching
  • Monitoring of progress through observable change and the successful achievement of the action plans.
  • In addition to 1:1 coaching we may recommend specific leadership group sessions that offer education on topics such as innovative leadership, skill building, or effective collaboration.
  • Closing the coaching Process includes establishing the overall effectiveness of the process and success of the interventions.  Sustainability of changes will be addressed.

1:1 Coaching process

  • Leader assessment and contracting phase:  individual leader and coach decide times to meet; often frequency and length of sessions are identified by organization.
  • Relationship development and discovery phase: Mutually identify and clarify the goals to work on during the coaching.
  • Self Discovery work- it is helpful to have a tool to accelerate self-awareness.  Verras, LTD. utilizes a 360-review tool and the Strength Finder Assessment however if an organization has used other tools Verras, LTD. can work with results of those as well.
  • Coaching sessions:  Regular meetings as agreed upon.  In person, by phone or videoconference. The sessions focus on discussing successes achieved, challenges encountered, accountability to action plan, and next steps.
  • Feedback and wrap-up:  Ongoing evaluation and feedback will occur during each session.
